Dr. Arden Andersen is a soil scientist, agricultural consultant and a physician. He specializes in the management of soils, crops and animals in a productive, profitable and environmentally sustainable way. He is a consultant on education, product formulation and market development, and a world authority in biological agriculture. He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Education, a Ph.D. in Biophysics and has a medical degree. He consults to agricultural enterprises worldwide and practices medicine.

Andersen is the author of cutting edge books that bridge the gap between soil and plant science and human health: The Anatomy of Life and Energy in Agriculture, Science in Agriculture and Real Medicine, Real Health. Dr. Andersen spent ten years with two of the US's pre-eminent biological farming experts, Dr. Carey Reams and Dr. Dan Skow. Dr. Andersen also practices preventative and nutritional medicine in the United States and lectures on soils, agronomy and human health.

John C. Baize is President of John C. Baize and Associates, an international agricultural trade and policy consulting firm specializing in the oilseeds sector. His clients include international agribusiness firms specializing in the oilseeds sector. His clients include international agribusiness firms, agricultural trade associations, and investment firms. He has chaired and participated in international conferences on oilseeds and oilseed products in Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as in the US. His particular areas of expertise area global production and trade of oilseeds and products, the growing global biodiesel sector, global animal protein production, and agricultural policies.

Prior to establishing his own firm in 1989, Baize served for over 10 years as a Staff Vice President in the American Soybean Association's Washington Office where his duties included overall domestic and international policy development and implementation.

Prior to joining the American Soybean Association, Baize served as a member of the staff of the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) where he was involved in several aspects in the Tokyo Round of GATT negotiations.

Baize also served for 4 years on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture where be was responsible for domestic livestock and grains policy as well as international trade and export policy. Baize has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, and Latin America representing U.S. agricultural interests. He has served as Chairman of the USDA/USTR Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee for trade in oilseeds and oilseed products.

Raised on a Central Texas grain and livestock farms, Baize earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science degree in agriculture from Colorado State University.

Amie Bandy is a certified crop consultant in Eastern Iowa. She has a BS in Soil and Crop Science from Purdue University. She began crop scouting and consulting in 1996 establishing her own business "The Crop Advisor."

Jarrett Chambers has a committment, passion and a proven track record that spans more than 20 years, Jarrett has a singular focus - to deliver results for growers. This focus will propel the agriculture and horticulture industries across North America. His professional experienve started at U of M where he obtained a M.Sc. in Soil Fertility and Microbiology. While at U of M he worked on the Jumpstart and Agrotrain technologies. The skills gained on these projects allowed him to develop and commercialize the ESN and Duration technologies across North America for th fruit, vegetable, turf grass and nursery markets. His next decade was focused on managing plant nutrition through the seed, the soil and the plant. Having pioneered and matured a successful plant nutrient company in Canada, Jarrett is excited about launching the next stage in pro- duction agriculture, ATP Nutrition. Jarrett Chambers is the President of ATP Nutrition. ATP Nutrition is a Canadian-owned and operated nutrient company, stmctured to he a leader in Plant Nutrient In- novation.

Neil Fuller has a degree and post grad in farm management and crop nutrition. He is a lecturer in Agronomy at UK University. He has been a consultant since 1985 in 17 different countries.His focus is in nutrient management and health programs in Africa and Asia.

Ashley Gulke-Leavitt authored a "Technical Analysis, Fundamentally Easy," a workbook focusing on technical analysis and its use by farmers in managing risk in the commodities markets. The book starts with the basics of charting and culminates in a case study to help the reader solidify his understanding and use of the skills learned in the book. She currently works with Gulke Group at the Chicago Board of Trade.

Jerry L Hatfield's personal research focuses on quantifying the interactions among the components of the soilplant- atmosphere system to quantify resilience of cropping systems to climate change. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America and Past-President of the American Society of Agronomy and currently serves as a Senior Associate Editor of Agronomy Journal.

Gilbert Hostetler is President of Prairie Hybrids Seed Corn. He was born and raised on the family farm and involved in the seed business since age 14. With twenty years experience in research, production, processing and quality control Gilbert takes after his grandfather H.W. Hostetler who started growing seed in 1970. "Our goal is to help farmers increase their profitability by raising non-GMO grain and improve the lives of their families." Gilbert is a husband to Julia and father to children Trent, Arlyn, Renita, Rhoda and Matthew.

Dr. Don Huber is Professor Emeritus of Plant Pathology at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Idaho (1957, 1959), a Ph-D from Michigan State University (1963), and is a graduate of the US Army Command & General Staff College and Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He was Cereal Pathologist at the University of Idaho for 8 years before joining the Department of Botany & Plant Pathology at Purdue University in 1971.

Huber's agricultural research the past 50 years has focused on the epidemiology and control of soilborne plant pathogens with emphasis on microbial ecology, cultural and biological controls, and physiology of hostparasite relationships. Research also includes nitrogen metabolism, micronutrient physiology, inhibition of nitrification, and nutrient-disease interactions.

In addition to his academic positions and research, Dr. Huber has had several concurrent careers including 14 years as a professional labor-relations mediator with 7 years service on the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board as a Mediatory/Fact Finder/ Conciliator, and served 12 years on two school boards with recognition as a Master Board Member from the Indiana School Board Association and Honesty in Public Service Award from Taxpayers United For Fairness. He retired in 1995 as Associate Director of the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center (Colonel) after 41+ years of active and reserve military service.

Dr. Huber has received various awards for his scientific accomplishments and contributions to government. Dr. Huber is an active scientific reviewer; international research cooperator with projects in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Russia; and a consultant to academia, industry, and government. He is author or co-author of over 300 journal articles, Experiment Station Bulletins, research presentations, book chapters and review articles; 3 books, and 84 special invited publications. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in the development of nitrification inhibitors to improve the efficiency of N fertilizers, interactions of the form of nitrogen, manganese and other nutrients in disease, herbicide-nutrient-disease interactions, techniques for rapid microbial identification, and cultural control of plant diseases.

His greatest accomplishment has been his marriage to Paula Huber and their 11 children and 35 grandchildren. Dr. Huber currently serves as APS coordinator of the USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System (NPDRS).

Vatché Keuftedjian, chief Executive Officer of Pursanova, is an accomplished, highly inspirational and team-oriented senior executive with more than 20 years in national and international operations. Influences on the structure and health of water via Pursanova's ceramic mineral ore.

Dr. Robert Kremer is a microbiologist with the U.S.D.A Agricultural Research Service, Cropping Systems & Water Quality Unit, and an Adjunct Professor of Soil Microbiology at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Agronomy from the University of Missouri, and his PhD.in Soil Microbiology & Biochemistry from Mississippi State University. Since joining USDA-ARS in 1983, he has conducted original research in using microorganisms and insects for managing weed seeds in soil and suppressing weed seedlings, developing management systems for improving soil and environmental quality, and on the impacts of genetically- modified crops on soil ecology and biology. He has taught courses in soil microbiology and weed science and is co-author of "Principles in Weed Management." Dr. Kremer is a Certified Soil Scientist and is a Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy and the Weed Science Society of America.

Jeff Littrell is Vice President of B.R.T. and FHR, Inc. He has studied with Dr. Skow, and Dr. Andersen for over 20 years working and formulating liquid and dry fertilizers, building soil programs, and using the Morgan and the CEC soil test. Jeff has studied at U of MN Waseca/Rochester, IA State, and Purdue University. He has designed programs for agriculture crops and turf. Jeff continues to farm large plot studies on the home farm in Chatfield, Minnesota while helping his children become involved in the farming operation.

John Mayernak received his Master's degree from New Mexico State University in Agronomy where after academia he spent eight years managing a research farm for New Mexico State ARS. He obtained a broad knowledge base of irrigated and non-irrigated crop production methods in alfalfa, corn, cotton, sorghum, chile, peanuts, and dry beans. When he obtained a soil microbial inoculant formulation in 1988, this directed him to evaluate the new field of inoculating the soil with live microorganisms.This journey of discovery led him to the mid-West where he was employed by one of the foundation companies in the biological fertility industry. John has authored or co-authored thirteen technical publications ranging from alfalfa water use, variety adaptation, to statistics, as well as, two scientific briefs on blue corn and the inoculation of soil with beneficial microorganisms. He came to work at BRT/FHR about two years ago.

Dr. Michael McNeill was born and raised in Algona, Iowa. He received his B.S. degree in Agronomy from Iowa State University, he then later received his M.S. degree in Plant Physiology and Ph.D. in Statistical Genetics. Prior to developing a new company called Ag Advisory, Ltd., Mike worked as a Research Scientist and Research Director. Ag Advisory, Ltd. is an agricultural consulting company working with clients from Texas to Saskatchewan, Canada.

Dr. Richard Olree Jr has been a Doctor of Chiropractic in practice in Northern Michigan for 30 years. Dr. Olree and Chuck Walters, founder of Acres U.S.A., an organic farming magazine, worked together to write the book "Minerals for the Genetic Code" and Dr Olree has written the book entitled "Minerals for Tumor Suppressing Genes". "Minerals for the Genetic Code" was published in 2006 with over 3,000 copies sold worldwide and is currently on the second edition. Dr. Olree's contribution to the book focuses on a chart of the spine he developed that overlays the Standard Genetic Chart and lectures on the usage of trace minerals.

John Oolman is experienced in agronomy primarily for corn, soybeans, and alfalfa crops. John has experience in developing training materials for farmers and farm industry professionals covering subjects of agronomy, agriculture business, fertility, tillage, and other agricultural subjects. Books, CDs, DVDs, and videos authored or coauthored "Corn and Soybean Production," "Maximizing Corn and Soybean Production with Fertilizer," CCA Self-Study Manual" and many others. John has managed research using small plot, greenhouse, land large scale field trials using yield monitors, involving farm equipment, fertilizers, tillage, seed, and pesticide performance. The studies provide useful information to farmers and other agricultural professionals that improves farm profitability, Experienced in seed treating, fertilizer formulation and has a Masters degree in agronomy and has a CCA certificate.

Dr. Volker Romheld was born in Germany. He holds a diploma in Chemical Engineering and Horticulture and has his Ph.D. in Plant Nutrition. Dr. Romheld is a visiting professor in Zheijang Agriculture University in China and is the Director of the Institute of Plant Nutrition from the University of Hohemheim Stuttgart, Germany. His research interests include uptake and fertilization of micronutrients, Genotypical difference in nutrient acquisition, Rhizosphere process for plant nutrition and plant health, environmental aspects for plant nutrition. He has 240 publications in national and international journals and is a co-author of "Mineral Nutrition of Higher Plants."

Keith Schlapkohl is a founding member of B.R.T. Ag & Turf and a life long farmer and visionary. Farming without conventional phosphorus or potassium and with the aid of waste streams and unique equipment, he has kept soil levels comfortably maintained. His yields have steadily increased while using low nitrogen levels. Keith has graced the pages of Progressive Farmer, Iowa Farmer Today, No Till Farmer and several short briefs on DTN with Dan Davidson. He is the keynote speaker for the 2010 No-Till conference in Des Moines Iowa. Keith is married to Linda and they have two daughters in college.

Dr. Dan Skow D.V.M. a practicing veterinarian and partner of Fairmont Veterinary Clinic in Fairmont, Minnesota. Dan is also the founder and partner of International Ag Labs Inc., a lab devoted to carrying on the legacy of Dr. Reams' approach to soil fertility and crop growth. Dr. Dan is a long-time trainer in teaching Dr. Reams' methods.

Bob Streit born and raised on a farm in Mitchell County Iowa, graduated from ISU with a degree in Plant Pathology and Pest Management. He worked four years with ServiTech Inc. Bob then organized the agronomy services with a large co-op in central Iowa. He then worked 19 years with DeKalb and Cargill/Mycogen Seed Companies as a tech service agronomist. After multiple mergers he began working for farming clients as a consulting agronomist in Iowa. Until 2000 Bob also helped work and manage the home farm. In recent years he has been traveling to South America to study soybean rust and work with their pathologists on control methods. This has led him to work with the U.S. Rust Task Force and other projects wth the USDA. Biographies.

Jamie Wasemiller is Operations Manager at Gulke Group based out of the Chicago Board of Trade. Jamie is also a market analyst, broker and assists Jerry Gulke with his Illinios farmland. One of Jamie's focuses within Gulke Group is the combination of risk management with crop insurance.
